Number 26 on the theme list... Yoga. What goes hand in hand with yoga? Chakras! You ain't gonna stand on one foot while the other one's behind your head with misaligned chakras, now are you? The chakras are made with polymer clay with a glaze over 'em and the chakra symbols painted on them. The symbols are painted on both sides because they do spin around on the wire so both sides have to be presentable. The wire goes through them and then winds back up between them. I worked hard on these things! And this is actually version two, the first one came out too big. On the first one I made each one into its individual flower shape and boy did that take forever. I'll post a picture sometime. For those of you who may wonder, from top to bottom we have... Crown of the Head (purple) - Formless supreme light Between the Eyebrows (blue/purple) - Intellect Throat (blue) - Spiritual drive Right of the Heart (green) - Love/compassion, respiration Navel (yellow) - Will power, power, digestion Above Genitals (orange) - Sensual drive, reproduction Below Tail Bone (red) - Material drive, elimination  |
