I've always had a bit of trouble photographing my jewelry as I'm sure other jewelry making folks have. We're jewelers not photographers dammit! But I've recently discovered something that I think has been making my jewelry pop a little more in the pictures, so I thought I'd share. As you may have noticed, my pics lately have had fun, colorful backgrounds instead of the boring ass white or black ones I usually had before (which was usually a blanket or a shirt or something). Well I discovered a fun little isle at Hobby Lobby that has all sorts of neato papers. There are tons of different designs! And the 8x12 sizes are 4 for a dollar, which fits perfectly into my light box (another good tool).
